It's Thursday, the sun is shining and there isn't a cloud in the sky. I've been for a run, taken Bailey out for a gorgeous walk, enjoyed a delicious snacky lunch and caught up with two lovely friends; a friend of over 30 years who lives in New York and another who used to work for one of my suppliers. All in all, a really wonderful way to spend a day in limbo. On checking my inbox yesterday morning, I received this fabulous image of 5 High Street - the image by Chris Lee is a perfect representation of the shop and I love it! Chris's work is wonderful - he is an artist based in Wells and has captured many of the iconic buildings and vistas around the city. He also travels extensively, and always captures his chosen subjects in the most wonderful, charismatic style. Its been reassuring to reply to them, to touch base, sadly not with orders at the moment, but just to make sure that everything is OK with them, too.
